Our new menu launches on 18th September but we are so proud of our new and improved vegan line up that we just couldn’t wait to tell the world. Three new premium vegan sandwiches step up and throw their hearty and healthy hats into the ring to join our firm favourite Vegan Sausage – that champ is here to stay. In the green corner is the (surprisingly orange) Green Machine – packed with spinach and pinenut falafel, hummus, kale and a tangy carrot tapenade (aah, there’s the orange). Next up is Sweet & Smokin’ – this one is full of surprises, with marinated carrot, fire smoked tomatoes and roast veg in a smoky chilli sauce. Lastly Coronation Chickpea is reaching for the crown, traditionally fruity and a little spicy as its almost namesake, it’s packed and stacked with chickpeas as well as apricots, sultanas and crisp lettuce.
This is a showdown where everybody wins.
But the show isn’t over…
We have two new vegan wraps getting in on the action.
Sweet Potato Pakora with a tabbouleh that’s got it all going on – cous-cous, spring onion, cucumber, tomato, mint, parsley and garlic – finished with a sweet chilli sauce in a tomato tortilla. The result is a great balance of fresh and sweet flavours that’s an absolute riot of colour.
The Big Bombay Bhaji Wrap has now gone vegan – Onion Bhaji and Bombay Potatoes get sweetness and smooth spice from mango chutney and a madras veganaise. It all adds up to a really satisfying wrap that’s a tasty little beast.
