It’s been a busy summer here at Real Wrap, and we want to give an update on all the exciting awards that have been recognising us in the process. We have been fortunate enough to have all of our hard work and accomplishments recognised quite a lot recently – being nominated for, shortlisted, and winning prizes left right and centre.
We work hard to provide you with high-quality food, and always have, so it makes us feel great to hear that we are continuing to do a good job.
Earlier in the year our NPD Manager Louise, and Karol who heads up the WIPS kitchen once again competed at the British Sandwich Association Awards for Sandwich Designer of the Year. We’re so proud to have such creativity and innovation in our team and are always looking to develop exciting new flavours for you (and us) to enjoy.
In September we were finalists at the Business Leader Awards in not one, but two categories: Manufacturer of the Year and Business of the Year – an amazing achievement for the whole team in recognition of everybody’s hard work.
We have been shortlisted as finalists for Scale-Up Entrepreneur of the Year at the Natwest Great British Entrepreneur Awards in recognition of our efficient and fast growth and are looking forward to hearing the outcome – keep your fingers crossed for us.
In further recognition of our growth, Real Wrap Co. has been chosen to feature as part of The Sunday Times Fast Track 100, a league table that celebrates and ranks the fastest growing companies in the UK. We have grown rapidly in such a short amount of time, and with that comes a whole bunch of hurdles that we have been successfully jumping – we are pretty proud of that, and it’s really nice for it to be acknowledged outside the company.
Aside from making tasty sandwiches, we like to make sure we are socially and environmentally responsible and actively limit the amount of waste we produce. Last November we won the Public Choice Award at Bristol Post’s West of England Green 50 Awards for our contribution to environmentalism. We’ve been involved with innovative projects such as Toast, which saw our waste bread turned in to beer, and send the rest of our waste to be anaerobically digested and turned in to biofuel. Our Marketing Manager, Daniel, has also had a busy summer spreading the word about our sustainable work – at schools, colleges, universities, and even in front of 300 people at the LACA live show!
We hope that by winning awards for the ways in which we run our business and reduce our waste, we can inspire and encourage others to find more innovative and interesting ways to do the same.
We are extremely grateful to all of our customers, old and new, and really want to thank everyone for all of your support. Awards like this really spur us on – it is great to raise our profile and become more prominent in the industry so that we can keep on growing and exploring new things.
